The Water and Sanitary Sewers Division has approximately 100 miles of water mains, over 800 fire hydrants and 5,600 plus service lines to maintain. In addition maintenance and inspection are done on a daily basis to its: 14 wells; 2 booster stations; 3 storage tanks; an interconnection with Veolia Water. Water sampling is done on a daily basis, as well as special sampling as required by the NJDEP which are sent to a certified laboratory.
