The combining of these operations has resulted in improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their operations under the Act, specifically N.J.S.A. 40:14-20. The OBMUA is a public entity however it is funded entirely by revenues related to water and wastewater operations, not via municipal or state taxes.
