Pinelands Water provides water services to approximately 2,500 residential customers in Burlington County, New Jersey. The Company pumps, treats and distributes water for domestic purposes in the communities of Leisure Towne and Hampton Lakes in Southampton Township, NJ. Water supply to the Pinelands system is derived from groundwater sources. Pinelands Wastewater Company, a Middlesex Water subsidiary, collects, treats and discharges wastewater from approximately 2,500 residential customers in Burlington County, NJ. The Pinelands Wastewater treatment plant provides clarification, sedimentation, filtration and disinfection. As public utilities, Pinelands Water and Wastewater Companies are subject to the regulations of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
