The Sewer Division has a very important function within our department. It serves approximately 230 residential units and local businesses in 3 areas throughout our Borough. Our Plant Operators role is to protect Public Health and Safety through a variety of wastewater treatment/disinfection processes. All 3 Wastewater Treatment Plants discharge to tributaries of the Ramapo River, either directly or via storm drains.
