How Does My System Protect the Environment?

Has an online dedicated stormwater webpage (state-level)

At the state level, this metric shows the number of municipalities that have a dedicated stormwater webpage that provides links to all materials as required by NJDEP's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Regulation, January 2023. For a detailed overview of the MS4 Permit click here https://dep.nj.gov/wp-content/uploads/njpdes-stormwater/final-deliverables-timelines-2023-ms4-tier-a-permit.pdf
Note: Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems are a network of structures that convey stormwater, usually to a stream or the ocean. An MS4 is not like the sewer system which is designed to treat sewage.
